Study Purpose
The purpose of the Shape Up! Keiki research study is to create a better way to measure and describe health from body shape.
About the Study
If your child is eligible and you decide to let your child participate in this study, you will be asked to arrive at Pennington Biomedical Research Center in Baton Rouge. Your child should be wearing clothing that has no metal-containing objects, like buttons, zippers, etc. The study visit will take about five hours in one day to complete. If you decide to let your child participate in Phase II of the study, you will be asked to return to Pennington Biomedical Research Center about one year after your child’s Phase I visit. The procedures and expected time for Phase I and Phase II are the same.

- Be 5 years of age or younger
To qualify for this research study, your child should:

Participation in the study will last approximately 5 hours.
Compensation
Compensation of up to $200 is offered for your time to participate in this study.
